Our Favorite Tip

Our favorite tip for Dahlias is to pinch the first sprouts when they are 2” above the ground. This will stimulate growth of more sprouts that develop into stems with flowers. Plant when the soil temperature reaches 60°F and danger of frost has passed.

Since the flowers are large on dinnerplate dahlias, consider staking the flowers as they grow.
